Squire Shopify Integration – Merchant Guide
Squire connects to your Shopify store to let your CX Squire chase orders, issue refunds, and resolve customer tickets. This short guide explains how to install the app, keep the connection healthy, and control your data.
- Open the invitation link from Squire (unlisted App Store listing).
- Review the access scopes:
- Orders (read/write)
- Customers (read)
- Products (read)
- Discounts / Price rules (write)
- Click Install app. You will be redirected to app.get-squire.com to finish onboarding.
- Inside Squire, complete the “Required Integrations” step:
- Shopify (the store you just authorized)
- Gmail (used for replying to customers)
When you open Squire from Shopify Admin, Shopify launches the connector in a standard browser tab (not embedded inside the admin).
Go to Apps → Squire.
The connector page includes:
- Quick links to the Squire dashboard and setup & integrations
- Steps to enable the Squire storefront chat theme app embed
Use Open Squire dashboard or Go to setup & integrations to jump straight into the full app.
If you disconnect Shopify (for example, to rotate API scopes) you’ll see a banner inside Squire:
Reconnect anytime by visiting Squire → Settings → Integrations and clicking Connect Shopify. You’ll be taken through the OAuth flow again.
Shopify automatically sends Squire the customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact webhooks.
Squire honors these requests within 30 days (usually much sooner) and confirms completion via email.
If you click Delete data now, the process runs immediately—no need to wait for Shopify’s webhook.
